Be sure to keep the following information in mind before making a reservation.

• To confirm your booking, you have to send a deposit of 50% of your stay no later than two weeks after making your reservation.

• We do not provide refunds or credits of any kind for cancellations, early departures, unused nights,  canceled or modified events, or weather conditions. Deposits, payments, and reservations cannot be transferred to another person or used for another reservation.

• Upon arrival, the balance is payable in cash, money order, or credit card. An additional 5% administration fee will apply for credit card payments. We do not accept personal or business checks on arrival. All rates are subject to New Jersey sales tax and tourist taxes.

• The total number of guests in the room includes all adults, children, and infants. Surpassing the maximum number of guests will result in additional fees and rooms. If the customer is dissatisfied, they can cancel their reservation without a refund.

• Must be age 25 or older to rent a guest room or apartment. Misrepresentation of age may result in full forfeiture of deposit upon check-in.

• Ala Moana facilities and services are for registered customers only.

Reservations & Deposits

• To guarantee your booking, you have to send a deposit of 50% of your stay no later than two weeks after making your reservation.

• Reservations made directly with us, 30 days or more before the arrival date, can be processed only by personal check or money order unless the reservation is made online with a third-party booking website.

• We will hold the reservation for two weeks to await the arrival of your check.

• There is a fee of $35.00 for a bounced check.

• The Ala Moana accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, Money Orders for a deposit on a reservation made less than 35 days before the arrival date.

Payment

• Upon arrival, the balance is payable in cash, money order, or credit card. An additional 5% administration fee will apply for credit card payments. We do not accept any personal or business checks on arrival. 

Cancellation

• Being a seasonal organization, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy.
• Deposits, payments, and reservations are not transferable to another customer or a future reservation.
• The client is responsible for the entire number of days reserved. Ala Moana Resort Motel is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. 
• There are no refunds or credits for cancellations, early departures, canceled or modified events, weather conditions, and acts of nature.
• Misrepresentation of a reservation will cancel the reservation without a refund.

Arrival and Departure

• Arrival time: 4 pm to 7 pm – Departure time: 10 am or before. We would appreciate it if you advised us if you expect to arrive after 7 pm. No arrivals after 10:30 pm unless scheduled with the office.
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available off-season, and rates are available on request.

Non-Smoking Area

• All rooms and indoor public areas are non-smoking, including vapor, e-cigarettes, and medical marijuana.
• Violation of the non-smoking policy in the room will result in a $250 charge.

Visitors

• Ala Moana facilities and services are for registered customers only.
• Unregistering guests and visitors are not allowed on motel properties.

For Everyone’s comfort, please respect the privacy of our guests by observing the appropriate level of noise, trying to shut your door quietly, avoiding a loud gathering outside your door, or running in the hallway. No music is allowed around the pool, outside, or on balconies.

No pet allowed

• Sorry, our resort is unable to accommodate pets.

Check-in Requirements

• A minimum check-in age of 25 is required to rent a room or apartment unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
• You are required to confirm your identity by providing your valid government-issued photo identification (State driver’s license, passport, etc.) at check-in.
• We required valid contact information, a signature from the guest making the reservation, and information about your car(s), including your license plate number(s).

Just a reminder…

• Reservations are held until 6:00 p.m. unless notified of a later arrival time.
• All rooms and indoor public areas are non-smoking.
• Ala Moana facilities and services are for registered customers only.
• We have a bike rack next to the pool. Please do not bring bicycles into the rooms or onto the balconies.
• Sorry, our resort is unable to accommodate pets.
